Payment Errors:

Sometimes an order may be cancelled because your credit card is declined. Only your credit card issuer or financial institution can confirm the specific reason for a declined credit card. Possible reasons include:

  1. The credit card number or expiry date was incorrect when you tried to buy the item.
  2. Insufficient funds on your credit card.
  3. As a security measure, some credit card companies reject transactions when a large number of online purchases are attempted within a short time.
  4. Some credit card companies reject international charges as a security measure. CBOC Marine is located in Canada and uses credit card processing services located in Canada.
  5. Technical issues originating with your bank or credit card company, or with CBOC Marine or our credit card processing services, can occasionally result in a declined card.
  6. You attempted to use a VISA, MasterCard, or American Express branded gift card. There may be terms and conditions specific to the card that prevented the transaction from completing.

When a credit card has been declined, regardless of the reason, CBOC Marine cannot reinstate the order, nor can we re-process the credit card transaction. The item is automatically re-listed for sale on CBOC Marine.

If the card details are correct, contact your credit card provider for additional information.

Once you have verified your card details and contacted your card provider, you can search for the re-listed item and order again.

Sales Tax:

Canadian orders will have GST/HST collected at the time of delivery. There are no sales taxes applied to orders shipped in the U.S.A.

Shipments and returns

Shipping General:

Shipping charges are billed at published rates (available on the carriers’ websites) and are base on the shipping destination and weight. All orders ship from our distribution centers located in the United States.

Canadian customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, Customs and applicable brokerage fees levied by the carriers (Import Fees).

Unfortunately CBOC Marine has no control over the charging and application of these fees. Please contact your local Canada Customs office for an estimate of these fees before placing your order.

Shipping Promotion:

Promo for UPS ground ($12.20 USD includes signature) and UPS overnight (24.95 USD) is per order. So no matter what you order, quantity or weight it will ship for that amount. One stipulation with the promo, it is only good for the 48 continental United States, Sorry Canada we continue to look for similar promotions for delivery in Canada.

Shipping FAQ:

At CBOC Marine, we understand how important it is that your packages arrive promptly. Below you will find answers to Frequently Asked Questions about our shipping policies and rates.

How much is shipping? 
Shipping rates depend on the service. We offer flat rate programs on some items available to the continental 48 states with UPS: $12.20 UPS Ground and $24.95 UPS Overnight (Saver). For the overnight rate, there is a $25 handling fee for oversized items. Please see our website for a list of oversized items. 

Is the flat rate shipping option per item, per box, per order or per shipment? 
The flat rate charges of $8.95 or $24.95 are per shipment. If you select an order to ship complete, you will be charged one time. If you select ship partial, then you will be charged for each shipment. If a complete shipment has multiple boxes, you are still charged 1 shipping fee.

When shipping an order, can I request a signature? 
All shipments from CBOC Marine require a signature.

If an item is marked “truck freight only” what does this mean? 
This product is too large for common carrier UPS or Fedex. This shipment will be sent via LTL trucking. The cost for these shipments varies, so please contact us for an accurate quote.

VERIFIED ADDRESS:

CBOC Marine is unable to ship to addresses other than your confirmed credit card billing address or other confirmed addresses.

If you are paying via PayPal please follow to instructions below to ensure delivery of your order. 

How a Buyer Can Confirm an Address
You have the following options:

  1.      Add a credit card to your PayPal account. PayPal will confirm the credit card billing address (i.e., the address where you receive your credit card statement).
  2.      Apply for PayPal Smart Connect. If you’re approved, the address on your application will be a Confirmed Address.

Alternate address confirmation. This process takes several days and is only available for U.S. accounts. To learn more, log in to your PayPal account and visit the Alternate Address Confirmation page

Failure to Pay Import Fees:

CBOC Marine attempts to provide its customers with the lowest prices possible. In order to ensure we can continue to do so, the following policies are in effect to protect you the CBOC Marine customer.

If you refuse or fail to accept the delivery of the merchandise, refuse or fail to pay import fees, and/or attempt to return the merchandise to avoid paying import fees:
 

  1. The costs you prepaid CBOC Marine for shipping and/or handling will not be reimbursed to you;
  2. You will be responsible for all charges resulting from said refusal or failure to pay import fees (such as costs for shipping and handling back to our distribution center(s) and any other fees resulting, directly or indirectly, from your failure to pay the import fees);
  3. You understand that all sales are final in accordance with our Warranty/Return Policy;
  4. You are still responsible for all actual import fees;
  5. You will not request that CBOC Marine or any other entity reimburse you for any import fees paid;
  6. You may have the option (depending on local laws and regulations) to be reimbursed by a governmental or other authority for some of all of the actual import fees (and you should contact the local customs office for more information on this), but you (and not CBOC Marine or any other entity) will be responsible for taking action to try to be so reimbursed;
  7. If CBOC Marine (or the shipper, broker or other entity) in our sole discretion decide to attempt to deal with the import fees directly with a governmental or other agency, we will no longer hold you responsible for the import fees;
  8. Any portion owed to you (after accounting for the items discussed above) will be refunded to you and
  9. Any portion owed to CBOC Marine (after accounting for the items discussed above), that we have not already collected from you, will be billed to you through your initial method of payment.

Warranty/Return Policy:

CBOC Marine offers a return period of 30 days from date of receipt. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) numbers are required for all returns. Returned products must be complete in the original packaging unused and resalable.

Special Order items may not be returned. Opened and/or unsealed DVDs, CDs, and cartography are not returnable unless defective. Units requiring service, either warranty or otherwise, should be returned directly to the appropriate manufacturer.

To obtain an RMA number, access your My Account page and your Order History. Click on your order you would like to return. At the bottom of the details under Merchandise Return enter the reason for return and click on the MAKE AN RMA SLIP button. Returned merchandise may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%; please contact us for further details.

Credit Card Fraud:

We take credit card fraud very seriously. For the protection of card holders and ourselves, orders that appear fraudulent may be held for manual review. If necessary, a representative will call you to verify the order and your shipping address. If we are unable to contact you within a reasonable period of time, the order may be canceled and refunded. 

Manual review may delay the shipment and delivery of your order. We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order before it is shipped.
